The Patriots will look very different after Tuesday’s reported mass exodus from Foxboro.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter tweeted Tuesday night that running back Dion Lewis plans to sign with the Tennessee Titans.
Lewis will sign a 4-year deal and join former Patriots teammate Malcolm Butler. Earlier Tuesday, Schefter also reported that Butler would be signing a 5-year contract in Tennessee.
These reports come on the heels of the news that wide receiver Danny Amendola was expected to sign with the Miami Dolphins.
Lewis, 27, broke out his first year in New England after two years coming off the bench of the Philadelphia Eagles. In his Patriots debut in 2015, he combined 234 rushing yards with 388 receiving yards in seven games before tearing his ACL. He played the same number of games the following year.
In 2017, his first 16-game season, Lewis ran for 896 yards and received for 214, adding nine combined touchdowns.
